To help you all get to know the voices behind the phones here at BCA, we’ve decided to start adding an Employee profile into our newsletter every month – where you can learn some interesting info about our staff! This month is Cristina Skouros !
1. How long have you been with BCA?
I thought it was 5 years but I’ve just checked and it is 6 years next month (man time flies!)
2. What keeps you busy on a normal day at BCA?
Anything from processing sick leave forms to ordering a ton of equipment to arrive on time and all the paperwork in between, YAY paperwork.
3. What do you enjoy most about your role?
Paying myself – just kidding. I like that I can work on my own without too much pressure from any of the other teams at BCA, I’m happy knowing I can organise my day so that the work gets done my own way.
4. What previous experience do you have?
All my administration experience came from working in other offices that was mainly Sales & Marketing related, other than that I really only ever worked in retail or hospitality and that was just so I had enough cash to travel.
5. What hobbies/interests do you have?
Reading; just finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.
Fishing; I enjoy fishing with my husband but feel sorry for the fish once they are caught.
Dogs; my most favourite thing to do is take my babies AKA dogs, Buddy & Holly (German Shepherds) out to the mudflats at Victoria Point to play in the water.
6. Tell us something about you that no one would guess…
I studied Laboratory Technology at TAFE. I loved working with blood maybe it’s because I’m from Transylvania…seriously!
