About Us

Born out of other medium sized Queensland based IT companies of the 1980’s, Business Computing Australia emerged in it’s own right in the later half of the 1990’s.

Initially geared to meet the needs of the Real Estate industry in South East Queensland, it has, through astute management, widened its market beyond this to cover a diverse number of government; semi-government and small-medium sized corporate clients.

Focusing predominantly on PC and Network solutions with ongoing technical support, it is in the enviable position today, where planned company growth has been achieved entirely through referral business without the need for conventional advertising methods.

Priding itself on the strength of it’s customer service, both pre and post sales, it now enjoys the confidence of many organisations who continue to talk to BCA for advice on IT solutions in growing their own businesses.

Based adjacent to the Pacific Motorway at Slacks Creek in Brisbane, BCA operates its head office and warehousing facilities for serving clients from both the North and South coasts as well as metropolitan Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba.

HISTORY

altBusiness Computing Australia was founded in 1997 by the current General Manager, Stuart Applegate.

Initially a small home based family business, it experienced significant growth in its first 2 years of operation. It was this growth factor, coupled with an increasing workforce that quickly led to the need for adequate office premises.

Moving the business in 2000 to its current location in the outer suburbs of Brisbane, the company continued to enjoy healthy growth whilst expanding its area of operation and reputation.

BCA now employs a full time team of qualified staff who, with their diverse skills, concentrate on pushing the company forward to meet the challenges of its long term goals.
